So, I'm getting quite fed up with scans_daily and thinking of leaving. Not flouncing out in a toys out of pram, you all suck, here's a locked blog post that tells you all how much I hate you but you can't comment on it sort of leaving, but a not-posting here any more sort of leaving.

The main reasons that I read scans_Daily are

a) I get to see new things and then read more of them
b) I get to discuss comic books that I read
c) I get to discuss comic books that I read with people that I like

Nobody is selling any new stories. We've settled into a rut of the same titles being posted by the same people. I'm trying to shill new indie books, but nobody gives a fuck. Only 1 other commenter for Who is Jake Ellis?.
b) I get to discuss comic books that I read
If I don't get any comments on my posts, then I don't get any discussion. There's not much value for me there. And it seems like most of what is discussed is stuff that I've read already as posters jump on their hobby horses and ride around in endless circles.
c) I get to discuss comic books that I read with people that I like
Without naming names, I don't actually look forward to hearing from most people on scans_daily. A few years ago I would look forward to hearing certain posters' opinions and ideas. Now, I don't, really.


So, is it worth me hanging around? Or should I go and find something else. If so, where?
